Founder, President, CEO, of a Commercial Printing, Bindery & Packaging Machinery Sales Business



>>    December 1987, started a used printing machinery brokerage business to facilitate corporate clients in upgrading to and purchasing new printing machinery systems.



>>    March 1991, negotiated and acquired rights to exclusive U.S. representation of commercial printing machinery products manufactured by Sanden Machine Limited of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.



>>    March 1991-November 2008, grew Sanden's market share of U.S. high volume direct mail printing machinery systems from less than 1% market share to market-leading position; eclipsing the combined sales of all domestic and foreign suppliers of competitive equipment.



>>    Established QAM as a market leader in the used hard-cylinder web offset printing machinery market and successfully penetrated vertical used equipment markets including: sheetfed presses, bindery equipment, diecutters, and related ancillary equipment.



>>    Responsibilities included all facets of business creation, development, marketing, operation and management, resulting in a business enterprise with peak annual sales of ~$38 million dollars.



>>    Personally developed and managed all corporate sales literature and presentations, marketing and advertising campaigns (both print and Internet-based), trade show participation, and new business development in existing and vertical markets.



>>    Frequently traveled to Southeast Asia (mostly China) to evaluate and source equipment manufacturers for sales and private label business expansion opportunities in the United States and International markets.



>>    Primary customers served included manufacturers of high-volume direct mail, promotional printing products, business forms, flexible packaging, and containerboard packaging.



>>    Larger corporate clients included R.R. Donnelley, Quad/Graphics, 3M, Moore Business Forms, Taylor Corporation, Three Z Printing, and Corporate Express.



>>    Company discontinued operations in November 2008 after a personal tragedy struck and when our largest trade partner, Sanden Machine Limited, was forced to seek bankruptcy protection a midst the rapid decline of sales and funding sources during the economic downturn and financial crisis of that time.
